Riding in style in a limousine was once the exclusive privilege of a select few like royalty, the super rich or the powerful and famous. These days you can hire a limo by the hour complete with star treatment. After their last day of school at Eastmont Junior High, some students were treated to a limo ride.
And the wow factor that people are looking for when hiring a limo is not only for adults. The Lincoln Navigator limo stretched alongside the curb, gleaming white; it waits patiently for Noemi and a group of her friends who are to be picked up, in the limo, after their last day of school at Eastmont Junior High School. Little did they know they would soon have an extra, party crasher, passenger.
Noemi’s parents hired the limo to drive her and her fourteen friends around for two hours on the last day of school as part of their end of school celebrations. Most of the group will be moving on to high school next year. As they drive, Joseph Budinich, owner of Hat's Off Limousine & Town Car Service, gets directions from his client, young Noemi.
He deposits them at the Coast Hotel to continue celebrating, but Budinich’s isn’t the only flashy ride at the curb. Another limousine, a stretch Hummer, driven by Katrina Anderson, arrives lavishing some star treatment on another group of students. Their vehicles command attention as they prowl the roadways, like giant sharks gliding over the ocean bottom - and the kids love it!
The inside of the limo is a micro cosmos; soft leather upholstery, drinks, disco lights and skull-pounding sound systems keep the party going, whether it's from the church to a wedding reception or just taking a group of kids out for a ride. Nothing beats riding in a limo for comfort and style. Limos have the surprise factor, and it's nice when people go the extra mile and hire a limo for a special occasion. Another big plus is that you can take a lot of people, even some who weren’t invited, to one place safely.
